SAISON Restaurant in San Francisco

  • Saison is the brainchild of Chef Joshua Skenes, Sommelier Mark Bright and Business Partner Kris Esqueda. It is a project that has been passionately crafted over the past several years since Bright and Skenes first met while working at Stonehill Tavern in the St. Regis Dana Point.

    Saison is a place where one can come and dine on the finest local bounty and where wines are poured with the same care as a Michelin starred restaurant yet be totally at ease in a casual environment.

    We at Saison Source each item from the surrounding land,  highlighting the abundant resources of the San Francisco Bay Area. Each morning a new menu will be crafted based on the finest offerings from our network of small farms, ranches, and fisheries.

    We Work with the best organic and biodynamic wine producers of the world, Saison matches its unprecedented flavors with equally unique and amazing wines.

    Rustic in its simplicity, being devoid of unnecessary elements and an honest presentation of materials…Luxurious in products, textures, aromas, and sights heightening the basic essence or flavor inherent in each ingredient to its peak…These are the things that Saison offers each guest.

    Dinner is served every Friday, Saturday, Sunday night at either 5:00 PM or 8 PM, and is currently $70, please allow at least two hours for your meal. We offer carefully selected wine parings with every menu to accompany your meal for a mere $40. We also now offer  a Chefs Table Dining Experience, where you the guest, gets to dine in the heart of the kitchen and observe our culinary team carefully craft each dish and chat with Chef Joshua Skenes while dining on upto 12 spontaneous created courses and sipping on some of the finest wines selected by Markris’ own Mark Bright.
